Please do not ask the doctor to make a home visit if you are well enough to come to the surgery.
If your are medically unfit to visit the surgery please telephone 028867 62995 before 10am.
You will be asked by the receptionist to provide a complete description of the patient's condition. The doctor will phone you to decide the best way to deal with your condition.
Emergency calls:
We expect home visits at all other times to be restricted to cases of extreme urgency and this will be assessed by the triage doctor. Genuine emergencies will be given top priority at all times.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time it takes to make a home visit.
